HOW YOU DIED
‘A’ and ‘B’ are childhood friends, who are catching up after ten years. ‘A’ was a successful lawyer and ‘B’ was a famous children’s presenter. There’s only one thing getting in their way... ‘B’ has been dead for ten years.
Ten years on. Technology is flourishing and the world has developed holograms to represent those that have passed. 'A' can finally get the closure that will allow them to live. Yet, what begins as a night of nostalgia and reconciliation unearths discussions of power, lies and secrets in Edith Keays’ debut play.

“The set and lighting subtly convey the futuristic setting, whilst leaving ample space for the performances and writing to take centre stage. They gesture at a future where technology makes beyond the grave reunions possible, whilst keeping the drama focused on the characters.”
★★★★
“Hugo Dodsworth’s minimalistic yet effective design gives the old attic-like stage at the Old Red Lion Theatre a sci-fi vibe. While vintage orange shades set the tone for the past, stark lighting yanks us back to the present…”
